FRONT OFFICE

Mary is the Office Administrator and the first smiling face you will see when you visit the office. Her friendly and caring personality ensures that you will feel welcome and at ease, no matter what the reason for your visit. Mary was a patient of Dr. Mark’s before she joined the practice, and she knows how you as a patient want to be treated. Her impressive attention to detail is the reason all business and clerical aspects of the office run so smoothly. Mary’s husband is an electrical contractor, and together they designed and built their current home. They both enjoy cooking, gardening and anything to do with the great outdoors.

HYGIENISTS

Tabrea is a graduate of Southern Illinois University. She received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1993 and her Bachelors in Healthcare Management in 1994. Tabrea has been with Dr. Mark since 1999. The expertise and perio experience she brings to the practice will help promote your dental health. Tabrea is a real “people” person. She enjoys interacting with her patients and is great with children. She will make you feel comfortable about your dental care and during your visits with us. Tabrea is married and has two pre-teen daughters. She enjoys biking and health and fitness.

Courtney began her career in the dental field as a hygiene assistant. Wanting to expand her horizons she enrolled in the dental hygiene program at the College of Lake County and received her Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005. She has been a part of Dr. Mark’s practice since her graduation. Courtney is naturally upbeat and friendly. Her gentle manner and professionalism are guaranteed to put you at ease. Courtney is married and her two “children” are of the puppy variety. She is a yoga enthusiast and a huge Cubs fan.

Tabrea and Courtney are skilled and experienced hygienist with personalities that are sure to make your visit a relaxed and positive experience.

ASSISTANTS

Alina and Paola are Dr. Mark’s dynamic duo. They will make your time spent with Dr. Mark as comfortable as possible. Their positive and cheerful attitude is contagious. They will mother you, fuss over you, ease your fears, be sensitive to your needs and do all of this with the technical expertise and professionalism that our patients have come to expect.

Alina was born in Lithiuania, but has lived in the northwest suburbs since 2000. Besides her native tongue and English, of course, she is also fluent in Russian and has some knowledge of Polish. She likes to cook, garden, hike and spend time with her family. Alina is married and has a grown son and daughter.

Paola is originally from Mexico, but she has lived in this area for 15 years. She is fluent in English and Spanish. When away from the office, Paola and her husband are busy with the all the activities in which their 8 year-old daughter and 10 year-old son are involved.

As a staff we feel that it is our job is to work together as a team to make
your visit to our office an enjoyable experience. And we do our job well!
